Chiropractor

I grew up in the small town of Little Falls, located in central Minnesota. I completed my undergraduate studies at St. Cloud State University where I enjoyed being a supervisor at the Recreation Center and being involved in numerous outdoor activities.
After completing my undergraduate degree at SCSU, I attended Northwestern Health Sciences University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in the fall of 2007. While attending NWHSU I participated in various clubs, most notably I served as the secretary of the Student International Chiropractic Association.

My passion in life is to touch as many lives as I can through chiropractic. I want to educate individuals and families on the importance of true health, not just feeling good. My goal is for people to understand that chiropractic is not just to relieve back pain, but it is the gateway to achieving the body’s true innate intelligence. As Thomas Edison wrote, "The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease."

Some of the activities I enjoy are camping, hiking, ice skating, and being with friends and family. I grew up in a family with many animals; therefore, I have a huge heart for all animals. Fall has always been my favorite season with the fun colors and fresh smells. I truly enjoy spending time with my husband Eric, whom I married in 2009. We have two boys, Landon & Grayson.

I am excited to be in the Blaine area and I look forward to meeting and developing a relationship with many individuals and families in this area.

I am a Minnesota girl, growing up in Minnetonka, MN. I spent my summers playing softball, doing gymnastics and attending summer camp. My passion for helping others led to my role as a Camp Counselor and TRIPS Director for kids and youth attending YMCA Camp Icaghowan, which came to an end after graduating college. For my undergraduate program I attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Receiving my Bachelors Degree in Fitness and Wellness In 2007. I was then given the chance to pursue my dream of becoming a Massage Therapist.

For my Massage Therapy program I attended CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu School and Clinic. I graduated CenterPoint‘s East/West Program in 2009, receiving certifications in Massage and Shiatsu Therapies. In February 2014, after working many places from chiropractic offices to pain therapy clinics I started New Moon Bodywork & Massage LLC. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible to each and every person I meet. I make sure to take the time to truly see and hear what my client’s are communicating, knowing that everyday is different from the next.

When I am not running my business I am spending time with my friends and family, enjoying time outdoors or working with individuals who have special needs. I am excited to be a part of such an amazing team of people who dedicate themselves to helping others as much as I do. What I provide is one important part of living a life of balance and health. Everyday, I look forward to the individuals I will meet and the relationships I will build here in the Blaine area.
